Leather

It is an old shamanic idea that when we wear the skin of an animal, we become imbued with the power of that animal...

Leather has always had an association with power and masculinity - from ancient warrior to modern-day biker, it is the tough outer armour that contains and yet amplifies the masculine power of the Man within.

Leather is the attire of the Master - His leather uniform that radiates His authority, and scents His body with it's bitter-sweet tang of irresistible power...

When a boy wears leather, he hopes merely to reflect and honour a small part of what he respects most in His Master: His masculinity, confidence and power; he tries to look like the Man that he would most like to be - and in that imitation, to grow to be worthy of His respect.
